The Vancouver Motorcycle Show wheels into the Tradex Trade & Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford from January 17-20.

Local riders and enthusiasts will open the doors to displays of hundreds of new 2013 motorcycles, scooters and ATVs from the world’s top manufacturers.

“The Vancouver Motorcycle Show is always a highlight for Western Canada’s bike community. It’s an amazing opportunity to get a first-hand glimpse of the latest models and to experience everything the motorcycle lifestyle has to offer,” says Show Manager, Laurie Paetz. “Whether you’re in the market for a bike or not, the 2013 show has something for everyone and promises to be an exciting experience for all ages.”

Some of the B.C. debuts will include BMW Motorrad’s much anticipated new 2013 BMW R1200GS, now liquid-cooled, more powerful, redesigned and restyled. A second new model – the 2013 BMW HP4 – a limited production special model, takes S1000RR superbike technology to new heights.

Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada will be unveiling 2013 debuts of the Dyna Street Bob, the CVO Breakout and CVO Road King motorcycle. Yamaha Motor Canada is shining the spotlight on two new 2013 motorcycles, the FJR1300 and the V-Star 1300 Deluxe. Can-Am, the company that created a new buzz with its unique three-wheeled footprint, adds a Spyder ST to the Roadster line-up.

Honda Canada will feature three new scooters and brand new bikes for 2013 including a new bagger version of the classic Gold Wing – the F6B – along with a retro tribute CB1100A, new CBR600R/RA, new CRF450R, new CRF110F and a new 500 cc lineup of bikes – the CBR500R sportbike, CB500F naked version and the CB500X with a little added offroad flavour.

And there will be further debuts and 2013 lineups revealed by other manufacturers at the show, including Aprilia, Arctic Cat, Ducati, Husaberg, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, MV Augusta, Piaggio, Polaris, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa and Victory.

Honda’s latest “bagger”, the 2013 Gold Wing F6B, a customized, blacked-out Gold Wing, stripped down with a “shorty” windshield, slimmer styling.

In addition to vintage motorcycle displays and all the new bikes, motorcycle enthusiasts can check out a wide-range of exciting exhibits and features, plus the latest in apparel, accessories and touring destinations.

Special features throughout the course of the four days include the She Rides Night, Team Empire Stunt Riders, Yamaha Riding Academy and a trials demonstration by Canadian Champion Jordan Szoke.

The Vancouver Motorcycle Show covers everything from road and track to the trail, with the latest in bikes, scooters, ATVs, apparel and accessories, all in one location.
